Your work gets marked either way. Publishing it is a separate choice. Being found by employers is another one. You can undo both, at any time, without asking anyone.
Every record starts private. It only moves if you move it.
Setting one
Your work is marked on your college's own computers. You get all three parts: the first draft score, your teacher's decision on the real mark, and the professional's sign off.
Nothing goes anywhere else. There is no web page, no link, nothing for anyone to open. Choosing this costs you nothing in the course, and nobody can tell you chose it.
Setting two

The finished record gets its own web address under your profile. Anyone you send it to can open it and check that your college really issued it.
It does not show up in searches. You choose this one record at a time, so publishing one says nothing about the others, and nobody can tell how many you have.
Setting three
Your record shows up when an employer searches. They can narrow it down by subject, skill, college, location, year, and who signed off on it. Someone who has never heard of you can find your work.
This sits on top of published. It is a separate switch because wanting a link to send, without being searchable, is a normal thing to want.

You can reverse any of it, one step at a time, without asking permission.
Your record stops appearing in employer searches. It stays published, so a link somebody already has still works.
The address stops working. A link you sent an employer last month stops confirming anything. That is the point of it.
Nothing of yours is left. You can publish again later. This is not a door that locks behind you.
These settings control publishing, not marking. Your grade, your feedback, and your standing at your college are untouched. No teacher has to approve a withdrawal.

A record holds no phone number and no email address. Anyone who wants to reach you does that somewhere else.
Checking a record is always free. No account, no email address, and no phone call to your college.
All of it sits on their own computers. We do not receive it and cannot read it.

That it came from this college, and that nobody has edited it. Whether the mark is right is your college's word, not ours.
Test and practice systems cannot publish anything at all.
No cookies. No analytics. Nobody counting or tracking your visit, which is why there was no banner asking your permission. The fonts load from this site.
Running a registry means keeping some operational logs. We state what they hold, and for how long.
A mark or a piece of feedback is your college's to change. Write to them.
