What employers see
Find people by the work they have done
An employer filters by subject, skill, city and year, and gets back students whose work a professional has already checked.
Two ways in
A link, or a search
A student sends an employer a link. The employer opens it and reads the whole record: the work, the marks, and the name of the working professional who checked it.
One click. No account, no email, no call to the college.
That is the direct-link flow. Search is the other way an employer finds work.
What it does
Six filters, and every answer comes from real work
An employer describes the person they want to hire. They get back students whose work was marked against those things by someone who does that job for a living.
- City. Where the college is.
- Subject and course. Whatever your college teaches. The software does not care what the subject is.
- College. Who issued the record.
- Skill or task. What the work actually required, not what the module was called. Drafting a contract. Analysing a site. Writing advice.
- Who checked it. A practising lawyer. A registered architect. A working designer.
- Year they finish. The group a recruiter is hiring, and how recent the work is.
There is no free-text search box. Every filter reads something the system already holds.
Each result shows the student, how many checked projects they have, and what those projects tested. Click through and you read the work itself.
The difference
A CV is a claim. A record is an assessment.
What a hiring site holds
What the candidate wrote about themselves. Working out how much of it to believe is most of what an interview is for.
What a record holds
Work the student produced, marked against a published scorecard, checked by a named professional in that field, and confirmed by the college that issued it. Somebody put their name to it.
Limits
What search does not do
- It does not rank people. Two students were marked by different professionals against different briefs. One number laid over that would hide the reasoning the record exists to show. Results are filtered, never scored.
- It only reaches students who chose to be found. A student who shares nothing does not appear, and those missing names are not a gap to be closed.
- It is not a hiring platform. No job posts, no applications, no messaging, no match scores, no recommendations. What happens after the click is between the employer and the candidate.
- Students cannot list themselves. There is no profile to write. Every entry was issued by a college.

Get started
Every record you produce is a real project, marked by your staff, checked by a professional, and open to any employer who gets the link or finds it in search.
ReadyHo is free and open source. Start with one course, or run it across your departments.
The rest of what employers see
- Employer checks Anyone can open a record and confirm it is genuine. No account, no email, no phone call to your office.
